Alabama School of Mathematics and Science is a residential public school for sophomores, juniors and seniors pursuing advanced studies in mathematics, science and the humanities. The school s curriculum includes English, biology, chemistry, history, mathematics and foreign languages with a choice in German and Spanish. It also offers the National Honor Society and French Honor Society programs. It also offers advanced placement courses in French, German and Spanish. Additionally, the school offers courses in computer science. It also offers student clubs and organizations. The school also organizes various extracurricular activities for its students, including mariachi band, parties, cultural games and movie marathons.
