Operational more than 20 years, the Anniston s Public Water System is responsible for the construction, operation, and maintenance of water and wastewater systems. It operates and maintains water treatment plants, pump stations, water booster pumping stations and water storage tanks. The department s plant and collection system is mostly funded through a grant from the United State Government Economic Development Authority. The Anniston s Public Water System is comprised of more than 60 employees. It is located in Anniston, Ala.
