West Elementary School provides educational and learning opportunities for the development of the academic, social and communications skills of students. It offers classes in kindergarten. The school provides counseling and guidance sessions. It maintains a library that offers books, magazines, reference materials, and online search engines and databases. West Elementary School employs a library specialist, psychologist and physical education coach, as well as counselors, educational assistants, and speech and occupational therapists. The school also organizes field trips and offers opportunities for students to participate in several activities, such as plays, reports and projects.
