McLeod Software Corporation develops and distributes dispatch and accounting transportation management software for the trucking industry. McLeod s software tools are developed by its own staff of JAVA certified programmers and technical underwriters. Its flagship product, LoadMaster, is an integrated, customizable fleet management system that is compatible with most mobile communications, mileage and fuel interfaces. McLeod Software has also developed a document imaging system, an EDI module, universal mobile communications module and Internet applications for trucking companies. In 2002, the company was named a Top 100 Logistics Company by Inbound Logistics Magazine. McLeod was founded in 1985 and maintains headquarters in Birmingham, Ala.
