Arizona Electric Council is a part of The Electric League of Arizona, which is a statewide nonprofit trade association. Founded in 1960, the Electric League of Arizona represents more than 350 companies. It serves the electrical, energy management, and heating, ventilation and air conditioning industries. The league also offers various membership plans to manufacturers, agents, distributors, wholesalers, dealers, contractors, engineers, facility managers and city inspectors. Its councils act as a referral source for home improvement and repair for Arizona Public Service and Salt River Project. In addition, the league s councils conduct surveys that feature arbitration for unresolved complaints. The Electric League of Arizona organizes a variety of events, including public relations programs and trade shows.
