Since the beginning AAG has focused on promoting healthy lifestyles through physical activity and physical fitness. Our program's orientation reflects the importance of physical activity and fitness on longevity, health promotion, and disease prevention. This encompasses promotion of active living, healthy body weight, stress management, risk factor reduction, and successful aging. Promoting healthy lifestyles is a key component of a prosperous global society and is important for an individual's day-to-day health and well-being. Regular physical activity is the best prescription known to reduce the risks of many chronic diseases and disabling conditions and it is effective in improving mental health and physical function as one ages.
Specialties
AAG Sports Academy aims to increase opportunities for kids to be physically active, both in and out of school and to create new opportunities for families to get active together. Our goal is to engage, educate and empower families to adopt a healthy lifestyle that includes regular physical activity and good nutrition.
