WorldatWork, founded in 1955, is a nonprofit organization serving human resource professionals in areas, such as compensation, benefits, rewards, work-life, performance and recognition, and attracting, motivating and retaining employees. Formerly known as the American Compensation Association, the organization comprises various units, including WorldatWork Society of Certified Professionals, Alliance for Work-Life Progress and International Telework Association and Council. The units provide provides education, certification, publications, knowledge resources, surveys, conferences, research and networking opportunities to more than 20,000 members worldwide. The organization provides education and knowledge on a variety of topics, including executive compensation, stock options, incentive programs, performance management, employee turnover, and legislative and regulatory matters related to rewards.
