George B. Lagorio Farms was founded in 1932 by Mr. Lagorio and was supported by George s wife, Evelyn. In the 1980s, the couple s daughter and son-in-law joined the company to help manage it. The company maintains three subsidiaries: Ace Apple, Delta Pre-Pack and Lagorio Communications Company. These separate entities were formed to meet the growing demands of California Valley s growing fresh fruit and vegetable market. The company is privately owned and has been in business for more than 60 years.
