Snak King is one of the largest snack food manufacturers on the West Coast. Its family of branded snacks can be found in various outlets including convenience stores, grocery stores, club stores, mass merchandisers, drug stores, vending machines, institutional food service operations and airlines. Snak King also produces and packages snacks for many of the worlds major food companies and retailers. The company owns its 174,000 square foot facility in City of Industry, Calif. Snak King was founded in 1978 for the sole purpose of producing pork rinds for a single private label customer. Within a few short years the product line expanded to include categories such as popcorn, caramel corn, cheese puffs, cheese curls and tortilla chips. Its product line expanded again with the acquisition of Jensen Manufacturing, a producer of roasted and dry roasted nuts, trail mixes, and dried fruits.
