HistoryFor over 30 years, Cheri has had a private nutrition practice and has worked closely with doctors at Hoag Hospital. For many of these years Cheri worked from her backyard in Corona del Mar, and moved to a larger space in 2006. Since then, the business has grown exponentially and has a database of over 3,000 clients all over the country. Alex Swanson became the co-owner of Swanson Health Center in 2008. He completed a Post-Bacc program from Bastyr University, a Sustainable Farming certification from Washington State University and an M.S. degree in Applied Nutrition and Business Entrepreneurship from Northeastern University. Alex is also the creator of paleoedge.com, and author of the book The New Menu for Diabetes.
