History
I have worked as a freelance artist in addition to my work at salons and with cosmetic brands since I started in this industry. I have worked at Salon Pop, Sanctuary, The Doll House, doing hair and makeup and most recently I have focused more on cosmetics working with NARS and Too Faced. I also have training and experience with Benefit Cosmetics, Smashbox, Dermablend and Lancome. I have worked on film sets (Flay most recently), photoshoots with photographers Grant Palmer, Denise Demearest, Rhiannon Larson and for clothing companies like Scarlet Poppy most recently. I have personal clients who I do work for special events, head shots and tutorials. I love doing weddings and events and making people feel comfortable and confident on their big day.
Specialties
I am a makeup artist and hair stylist with 15 years experience and am licensed in both CA and TX. I currently work as an artist for both NARS and Too Faced Cosmetics in addition to doing freelance work for weddings, film, photo shoots, tutorials, events and red carpet. My specialty is making you look your best while feeling comfortable. I do well with direction; we all have our preferences with our skin, hair and makeup. I excel in artistry- I love color and have a passion for finding the perfect shades to compliment your skin tone and look you are going for along with your life style. I also am trained in color correction for dark spots and melasma and tattoo concealment and acne scarring and discoloration. For hair I have a knack for retro styling and editorial looks. I have a team of people I work with an if you have a need that I feel someone else can best meet I will not hesitate to refer you and they assist me for larger groups. For brides and special events I am always a fan of an in depth trial run- we want to make sure you and I are the right fit for each other. I also like to guide my clients towards best skin and hair care practices before their big days. I do custom tutorials as well- I have a passion for showing people how to use the items they own as well as providing a list of what they may want to add and how to use it all to best suit your needs.
