History
I opened my private practice after becoming licensed as a psychologist in 1998 (already holding a license in professional counseling in Texas from 1995). I have over 20 years of counseling and therapy experience. Though I have a full-time practice, I also teach Cognitive Behavioral Therapy one day a week at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center where I also supervise Psychology Postdoctoral Fellows and Psychiatric Residents. My PhD is in Counseling Psychology from The University of Houston (APA Accredited), MA in Clinical-Community Psychology from California State University Northridge, and a BA from UCLA. I completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Clinical Psychology from UCLA (APA Accredited) and a Summer Fellowship from the Albert Ellis Institute in Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy. I also completed an internship in Professional Psychology at The University of Texas at Austin (APA Accredited). I have a wide range of experience and a speciality in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
