Cypress City Hall is comprised of community development, human resources, finance and administrative services, police and public works departments. The city hall houses the offices of the clerk and manager. Its finance and administrative services department is responsible for financial accounting, payroll, fixed assets, departmental budgets, issuing business licenses, maintaining personnel data, information systems, accounts payable and investments. Cypress City Hall s public works department is comprised of engineering and maintenance divisions and is responsible for the maintenance of infrastructural systems for the community. The city clerk s office is responsible for preparing city council agendas and follow-up correspondence; recording and maintaining minutes, ordinances and resolutions; and conducting city elections.
