American Baptist Homes of the West, founded in 1949, is a provider of senior housing and health care services. Its communities are accredited by the Continuing Care Accreditation Commission. Its communities offer a variety of services and amenities, such as residential living, assisted living and skilled nursing care. The organization also provides housekeeping, transportation and laundry services, organizes social events and activities, and offers other support services, such as occupational, speech and physical therapies. American Baptist Homes of the West also owns and manages more than 18 housing retirement communities for low-income persons.
