FunctionOne was founded by Joe Markert in October 2007 in response to the lack of an IT services format that was truly aligned with his customers needs. Most companies only called the IT Guy when things were broken - which meant they were losing money already and the IT Guy was making money in the process. A better approach was to manage the customers network and IT needs on an ongoing bases for a fixed fee. By doing this the IT Guy now had skin in the game as he doesn't make more money when things are broken - he makes less - so his impetus is to solve the problem quickly - or better yet - help to ensure it doesn't happen in the first place. This approach inspired Joe to form FunctionOne and the rest of the story is being written as we speak....come check us out!
