I called myself a Storyteller masquerading as a Jewelry Designer because I started my designs by telling stories about each of the gemstone designs I made. What the meaning of turquoise was in a design (life leadership) or crystal (prophecy). I wrote little storybooks about each piece. I still do that occasionally but I've morphed into jewelry and clothing designs with a more street style, boho look - bolder, more dramatic. Jewelry and clothing for women who walk to the beat of their own drummer - and don't ask permission to do it. I've gravitated to antiques from Tibet and Africa. Ancient cultures with Silk Road energies and mystery really inspire me. Always changing, always one of a kind. That's my style....and the style of most women I meet. I use unique materials and antique components in my jewelry including clay, cord, fiber, leather, metals, gemstones, found objects, antiques and vintage finds.
