The Hertz Corporation opened in New Jersey in 1918. Today, it is the largest car rental company in the world with over 8,000 locations in 146 countries. It's probably best known as the first major car rental company to implement GPS in its fleet. This location is on the ground floor of the Renaissance Hollywood hotel at Hollywood and Highland. Hertz offers a multitude of options for car pick-up and return: A driver can pick you up at home or the office and will drive you home after drop off or it can reimburse cab fare to the office up to $20. This location also allows customers to drop off the car in the garage after closing, asking that you leave keys and written car location in a drop box. A full line of cars, from economy to luxury class, is available as are hand-controlled cars for disabled customers.
