Hula Connection is a Polynesian Music and Dance “school” (halau) established in 2003 in South Orange County. Catering to students ranging from 2 to 100+ years old, the school aims to cultivate the “ALOHA SPIRIT” through music, dance, and culture, emphasizing respect for self and others.
Founded by Kumu and Alaka'i Lianne Nahina Pfister, who brings decades of professional dancing experience and training under esteemed kumu from Hawaii. The school not only focuses on Hawaiian culture but also explores Maori, Samoan, and Tahitian traditions, encompassing a wide range of Polynesian cultures.
With a diverse team including passionate dancers like Brenda Wallace Penrose, who brings a blend of hula, ballet, and teaching experience, Hula Connection offers lessons for all ages and levels. The school fosters a sense of community, encouraging lifelong friendships and a supportive environment to learn and share the aloha spirit through dance.
