Jazzercise has been in business in San Diego County since the 1970’s. It traces its roots back to a women's YMCA class in Oceanside. This particular fitness center opened in early 2005. Since then, the state- of-the-art facility has expanded tenfold. With between three and seven classes per day, Jazzercise offers a little something for everyone. The sixty minutes of cardio exercise can burn up to 600 calories. It is inspired by the moves of yoga, pilates and kick boxing and the sounds of hip hop, pop music and of course some funky jazz. The center offers various membership packages, depending on budget and dedication to the classes. Conveniently located in the El Camino Shopping Center, Jazzercise offers a way to stay fit or get back into shape.
