Tucked in on the edge of Encino Place on Ventura Boulevard, Maki Sushi is easy to miss when driving by. This cozy little sushi restaurant is very neat inside, with several tables for eating and six seats at the sushi bar. A television inside plays sports and news. Sashimi and sushi a la carte as well as fresh rolls, baked rolls and tempura rolls are made fresh by the sushi chef behind the bar. Box specials for lunch and dinner include two sushi pieces, two California roll pieces and a choice of teriyaki chicken, BBQ beef or salmon steak, served with rice, miso soup and salad. For catering events, party platters can be prepared with sushi and rolls. Free two-hour valet parking is available with validation.
