Metson Marine was established in 1984 to provide ocean services including, vessel operations, ocean environmental and marine engineering services. Additional services include ship management and vessel charter, port operations, small craft operations, emergency spill services and project management. The company operates and maintains more than 13 government and commercial vessels, two harbor tugs, six facilities, one crane barge, three oil barges and more than 50 small craft, including security boats, oil spill clean-up boats, dive boats and other miscellaneous equipment and trucks. Metson s clients include Clean Bay, Clean Islands Council, Military Sea lift Command and the United States Environmental Protection Agency. Its corporate headquarters is in Ventura, Calif.
