Attorney Connie Y. Isais received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from California State University,Los Angeles. In 1999, she received her law degree from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. Attorney Isais interned for the National Immigration Law Center in Los Angeles, California and for the Immigration Project in Granite City, Illinois. She is a member of the State Bar of California and is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Central, Southern and Eastern Districts of California and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. She is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association as well as the Los Angeles County Bar Associations Immigration Section. Having worked for one of Los Angeles largest Immigration firms for almost 4 years, Connie is experienced in all areas of immigration law including working visas, family based immigration, employment based immigration, asylum, deportation defense and naturalization.At her previous employer, Mrs. Isais handled the firms complex naturalization cases and served as the firms liaison to the Los Angeles District Naturalization Office. Her mother, a native of Taiwan, immigrated to the United States when she married her father, a serviceman in the United States Navy who retired in 1992 as Master Chief after 30 years of service. As an Asian-American, Attorney Isais saw the difficulties encountered by both her mother and their friends in adjusting to a new country.
