Founder Kimberley Blackburn transitioned from working as a Clinical Psychotherapist and began developing a private practice as a Learning Specialist in 2002. As a Child, Adolescent and Family Specialist she saw the huge toll learning difficulties had on children's self-esteem and on their families well-being. In over 15,000 hours working one on one with struggling students she has come to see what causes bright children to fall behind at school - they have a functional style, also known as an OptiKode, which puts them at risk in school settings of all kinds. Her expertise is to use each child's OptiKode to unlock their full learning potential and to show parents how to do the same thing at home. She has helped hundreds of children step into their birthright as natural born learners and has helped all their families experience true relief from worry and lasting hope and harmony.
