For the last 50 years, Garvin owned and operated Gardens Under Glass (GUG), a Terrarium manufacturing company in Los Angeles, as he collected classic cars on the side, and made friends with car enthusiasts all over the country. After retiring, he decided to put his garage and his network of friends to good use, and GUG became Garvin's Unique Garage. He began renting out cars to Hollywood and Film Production companies in 2005 for fun and it soon became a second career. Garvin has had his vehicles featured in over 100 major motion pictures, music videos, tv shows, and commercials.
