Although it wasn't my calling, I loved the industry having grown up in it. My father had done movies and had always been in theatre. When I was doing background there was no such thing as a calling service. Heck only the lucky ones had cell phones (Stop laughing.) It was very frustrating to try and secure yourself work for the next day especially back then having no resources or options other than pay phones. My closest friend at the time was a Casting Director at Central Casting and we had an opportunity to be in on the ground breaking of 1 of the very first calling/casting services. Fast fwd 22 years and here I am. Our service is very hands on representing UNION and NON UNION talent although we do limit our union roster. We work hard for our talent and follow strict guidelines expected of us by casting agencies. If you take your job as serious as we do, welcome! Let's make each other shine!
