Ruiz Foods, located in Dinbua, Calif., manufactures more than 185 different Mexican-food products under its signature El Monterey brand. Its full line of frozen Mexican food includes burritos, chimichangas, taquitos, tamales, enchiladas, soft tacos, cruncheros, tornados and quesadillas. In addition the company produces guacamole and appetizers including mini-tacos and burritos. Its Mexican Grill creations include charbroiled steak burritos, charbroiled chicken breast taquitos and charbroiled chicken breast and cheese quesadillas. The company distributes its products through its foodservice division to companies including chain account restaurants, family restaurants, convenience stores, entertainment venues and catering businesses. Founded in 1964, the company is a member of the Small Business Association Hall of Fame.
