Roxanne moved from Asheville, North Carolina, and has been based in sunny Los Angeles for 6 years. She specializes in portraiture. As a destination wedding photographer she has worked with incredible couples who have tied the knot in locations including Hawaii, Spain, California, NC, DC and Nicaragua. Her background in photojournalism helps brings to life moments that may otherwise seem ordinary. She has an eye for beautiful natural light and finding the magic within a scene. Depending on the project, Rox often shoots on 35mm film & 120mm medium film- she finds this approach especially perfect for boudoir sessions. Rox holds a BA in Photojournalism and Studio Art from UNC-Chapel Hill. She has been published in Alaska Magazine, NPR, BYT & Marie Claire. Clients include HAWORTH, RESULTS & Winter World Special Olympics.
