History
Since it's origin in 1995 Mel the Pet Stylist offered superior grooming and care to the fur babies of Scripps Ranch, Rancho Bernardo and Escondido. In 2020 Mel stepped away from the business as she moved out of area and sold it to the current owners. With the exchange came the move of the shop to Southern Escondido for a bigger more luxurious Salon. With the transition came the rebranding to The Barking Lot of Escondido with Stephanie Price joined the venture as our head groomer and salon manager. Stephanie comes from a distinct line of Groomers and grew up learning the trade, she has mastered many beautiful cuts and works with both your dog and cat fur babies alike!
