Mr. Taco was established in 1985 by Maria and Guillermo Cortes with the mission of creating an authentic Mexican cuisine dining experience where customers are welcomed and treated like family. Throughout the years the Cortes family, children and grandchildren have all worked towards this mission and could be found behind the register, cleaning, or in the kitchen.The Original Mr. Taco is now owned and operated by their eldest daughter, Angelica and her husband, the head chef. They are committed to continuing and growing the family business with locations in San Marcos, and Vista. The Original Mr. Taco looks forward to serving you and your loved ones
