Founded in 1997, the Coastside Clinic is one of ten outpatient clinics operated by the San Mateo Medical Center. The Medical Center also operates specialty clinics (dental, eye, medical specialties and surgical specialties). Services at the Coastside Clinic include pediatrics, primary care, family planning, women's health, nutrition and obstetrics/gynecology. The clinic is located on the same floor of other San Mateo County services, including Behavioral and Mental Health, Environmental Health and Human Services. The agencies work together to provide a full spectrum of services for clients. A Community Health Advocate works with clients to determine eligibility for financial assistance, and is in the office on Mondays. Interpretation services are available upon request.
