Justin Waite has over 10 years experience teaching and tutoring in Orange County and New York City. Locally, Newport-Mesa Unified, Santa Ana Unified and OCDE (Orange County Department of Education) are where he has, and continues to motivate students to be their best academically, and to cultivate the habits that lead to success. Autonomy, Mastery and Purpose: these are the elements he instills as he pushes students to live, learn and grow.
Specialties
Waite Educational Consulting believes that success comes from involvement -strong relationships. Students, parents, and teachers work in concert, but when a student is having trouble in school, there is often a disconnect. Lines of communication have dropped, and open and productive dialogue has trailed off. The support necessary for academic growth has vanished. While teachers are important in motivating students in the classroom, -the home environment- where a student completes most of their coursework- is of primary importance. WEC facilitates relationships and fosters involvement, serving as a liaison between parent, student and teacher, as well as serving as tutor. Building bridges, reestablishing trust, and setting goals- these activities are just as important as tutoring a teen or assisting in their schoolwork. This dynamic enables a new and positive approach to school and education. Only through the cooperation of student, tutor, parent, and teacher are the best and lasting results achieved. WEC can help students produce work that they are proud of, which their parents can recognize, and which pushes them on to higher heights.
