Foothills was founded in 1998 by Matt Becker and Roy L. Claar. Matt saw the need for a Golden based cremation and funeral provider for Jefferson and Douglas Counties as well as Metro Denver. Matt has since retired and sold Foothills to John DeMers, who has been helping area families in need since 1999.
