History
Tara Emrick, MSW, CYT completed the 265-hour Contemplative Hatha Yoga Teacher Training Program with Karin Bustamante and Hansa Knox at PranaYoga and Ayurveda Mandala in Denver. Through the wise counsel of many, Tara found a way to combine her background in grief research done for her Master's Thesis, her personal grief experience, and her love and appreciation for the practice of Hatha Yoga. Thus was born Grace Grief Yoga.
Specialties
Grief resides in our body. If we attend to the grief, sadness and sorrow within our physical body, we can move through our pain instead of around it. Yoga is one way to experience this transformation within the grief journey. Yoga, simply put, is union; union of mind, body and spirit. Grace Grief Yoga offers a safe place to move through your grief, without judgment or expectation, and reconnect your mind, body and spirit.
