As long-time veterans of the publishing industry we recognized the decreasing quality of magazines in our category. As life-long veterans of the outdoor sports industry we share and respect the passions of outdoor enthusiasts and destination resort visitors alike. We felt this audience deserved a better product than what was currently available. So we left our old jobs and created Mountain magazine. We wanted to produce a throw-back periodical that paid respect to the days when magazines we're something you looked forward to reading, keeping, and using as a trusted resource - something that delivered incredible photography, compelling storytelling and valuable insight.
