Founded in 1996, Anatolia Minerals Development is involved in the exploration and development of mineral and precious metal properties in Turkey. The company owns and operates the pler gold project 500 kilometers east-southeast of Ankara,Turkey, the Fol-Ken project with six exploration sites, and the Kabatas project of copper and gold deposits. The company is also involved in several joint venture projects with Rio Tinto Mining, including the Tunceli copper, zinc and silver property, and the Bursa, Durusu and Gumushane mining projects. Other joint venture projects include the nearly 20,000 hectare Tufanbeyli zinc and lead project with Silvermet Mining, the more than 70,000 hectare Yenipazar copper and gold project with Aldridge Mining, and the Ikiztepe-Sarp copper and gold project with Valhalla Mining. Anatolia Minerals Development is headquartered in Lakewood, Colo., and has an operations office in Ankara.
