Board-certified, Dr. Tyson Brierley attended Weber State University in Ogden, Utah and earned his medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Pennsylvania. Dr. Brierley completed his residency at United Health Services Family Practice Residency in Johnson City, New York, serving as chief resident his final year.Prior to joining Centura, he was an associate professor with both the State University New York (SUNY) Upstate and the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Brierley sums up his personal philosophy of care as providing integrative care for the body, mind, and soul through healing oriented partnerships. He also strives to stimulate the bodys inherent capacity to self-heal though a synergistic healing approaches including conventional and complementary medical modalities.Outside of medicine, Dr. Brierley enjoys spending time with his three children. Together they spend as much time as possible in the great outdoors hiking, camping, traveling, mountain and water sports.
