Located in Branford, Conn., the Human Resources Department is administered by the government of the T own of Branford. The department is responsible for the recruitment, development and retention of quality workforce and serves the employment needs of the Branford community. The government of the T own of Branford operates finance, engineering, economic development, information technology, inland wetland, public libraries, planning and zoning, and solid waste and recycling departments. It also administers the working of animal shelter, fire, education, harbor master, health, police, parks and recreation, public works and highway departments. The government of the T own of Branford operates a water pollution control facility that collects sewage from several sewers and more than 45 pump stations. In addition, it operates a general government buildings department that is responsible for the repair and maintenance of town-owned buildings.
