The Department of Public Works, also known as DPW, is governed by the Town of Greenwich in Connecticut. It works toward the construction, development and maintenance of properties. The department also specializes in design and maintenance of school properties. The Department of Public Works offers technical and engineering services to other town departments and agencies. In addition, it provides building inspection, waste disposal, snow removal and engineering solutions. The department installs traffic sgns and signals. The Department of Public Works maintains sewer and building construction and maintenance divisions. Its highway division is responsible for the repair and replacement of sidewalk.
