Founded in 1968, Wheeler Clinic is a multiservice, nonprofit agency that offers a range of behavioral health and medical care solutions for children, adolescents, families, adults and senior citizens. The clinic provides psychiatric services and multidimensional family and multisystemic therapies. It offers mental health, early childhood development and substance abuse prevention solutions. Wheeler Clinic administers the Bettor Choice program, which includes financial counseling solutions. The clinic is accredited by The Joint Commission and the American Association of Suicidology. It serves the residents of Bristol, Hartford, New Britain, Farmington, New Haven, Newington and Plainville in Connecticut. Wheeler Clinic also provides special education services.
