Dr. Castner began her medical career as an ICU nurse, before attending and graduating from Georgetown School of Medicine. After completing her internship at Georgetown University Hospital, Dr. Castner trained in Emergency Medicine at George Washington University Hospital. As a mother of four, Dr. Castner brings both her medical training and hands-on experience with family illness to her clients. She developed her mobile medical practice, A Doc at Your Door, to offer patients an alternative approach to obtaining health care for common minor illnesses and injuries. Services are targeted toward patients who desire the personal touch and convenience of house calls coupled with modern technology and on-line access to health records. Services are provided within the comfort of one's personal setting and are available during extended hours. The company is based out of Washington, DC (Sept- May) and in Bethany Beach, DE (June-August).
