Established in 1936, Canadian Broadcasting Corporation is Canada's national public broadcaster, and one of its largest cultural institutions. It offers various programs in English, French and eight aboriginal languages. Canadian Broadcasting Corporation reaches its audience through eight national radio and television networks, its full-service Web sites, local and regional stations and affiliates, the digital television channel Country Canada, and the continuous music network Galaxie. It has strategic partnerships with other broadcasters, and is a partner in the satellite radio service SIRIUS Canada, as well as in the specialty television services ARTV, and the Documentary Channel. Canadian Broadcasting Corporation also broadcasts various programs for the United States audience, and it offices are located in Washington, D.C.
