Originating in Detroit Michigan, under the name "Michigan Saw & File Co, the company was relocated to Florida in 1972 by the Gills, Alan and Velma Gill. Dixie Saw continued to grow to over a million dollars gross sales in 2006. You could say we are an old shop that incorporates state-of-the-art technology. Dixie Saw services virtually every cutting tool used in the industry, whatever your sharpening needs are ; metalworking, wood, plastics, paper, meat and other cutting and slicing operations, Dixie Saw service delivers quality workmanship whether it's local or out of state.
