Frit Car specializes in the repair of railcars for the railcar industry. The company maintains two locations, one in Brewton, Ala., and a second one in Bridgeton, N.C. The Brewton location occupies more than 80 acres of land and houses more than 75,000 square-feet of covered workspace; the Bridgeton location occupies more than 60 acres and has a yard capacity of more than 150 cars. Both facilities are tank car certified per M1002 and M1003 standards. The company is also certified to test, convert and alter tank cars, and all invoices are prepared to industry standards. The Brewton facility first opened in 1978, offering repair and maintenance services to railroads and private car owners. Clients are diverse and are located throughout Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Mississippi, Louisiana and Texas.
