History
Founded on March 17, 2993, the Alliance for Musical Arts started as an Entertainment Provider for Special Needs Audiences. In 1995, Youth at Risk of Juvenile Delinquency was added, with the Musical Arts & Theater (MAT) afterschool program at the Performing Arts Theater in North Miami Beach. Program relocated to Opa Locka in 2012 to provide services for low-income households with no access to quality musical arts programming. In 2010, AFMA found t's permanent location at the Betty T. Ferguson Recreational Complex in the City of Miami Gardens. Our program has expanded to provide: Youth Drum Line - YDL Teens Acting & Drama Studio - TADS 305 Community Band -
