The Arc of Indian River County has been dedicated to serving the special needs community since 1975. With a mission to support and empower individuals with special needs to achieve their life goals, The Arc offers a variety of programs and services to over 200 special needs individuals in Indian River County.
From six residential group homes providing 24-hour supervised care to adult day training focusing on work preparation and vocational skills, The Arc aims to enhance the independence and quality of life of those with intellectual, developmental, emotional, or traumatic brain disabilities.
Additionally, The Arc provides personalized behavioral services, supported employment assistance, supported living services, and transportation with 21 vehicles offering door-to-door support. Through various initiatives like youth employment transition programs, special events, and community partnerships, The Arc continues to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals with special needs.
