MoreDirect is an information technology solutions provider offering corporate customers its B2B e-procurement solution for the acquisition of IT products and services. The company's solution is designed to empower clients to electronically source, evaluate, compare prices, purchase and track their hardware, software and related technology product purchases in real-time. MoreDirect also markets its proprietary technology, Traxx, which is designed to track transactions with suppliers electronically. MoreDirect was founded in 1992 as Corporate Buying Service with the intent to create the industry's first electronic and real-time access to the highly fragmented supply chain of IT products. The company evolved into one of the industry leaders with e-commerce capabilities and launched its first electronic interface in 1994. In 1999 the company changed it name to MoreDirect and in 2002 became a whole owned subsidiary of PC Connection.
