We do this by revitalizing spaces in small towns, then using technology to connect rural entrepreneurs and workers with opportunity and each other, developing in-demand skills through classes and mentoring, accessing new markets via ecommerce, and by encouraging diaspora members to bring their businesses, resources, and knowledge home. Commonwealth's theory of change is that if we can foster renewed hope and enthusiasm around entrepreneurship through community engagement, and provide vehicles and essential supports for accessing new markets, launching new businesses and growing existing businesses, then sustainable, well paying jobs will be created locally and economic decline can be reversed.SpecialtiesPlease note: An active membership is required to access Commonwealth.
