Manatee Children's Services, established in 1977, is a nonprofit organization that offers support and assistance to abandoned and destitute children. The services offered by the organization include prevention and intervention in social issues, education and medical care to children. It provides emergency shelter programs that include assistance, safety, housing, clothing, personal hygiene items, and transportation services. The organization offers various recreational and sports activities, such as badminton, volleyball, football, basketball and board games. It also provides consultation services and psychotherapy children suffering from emotional stress and abuse. Manatee Children's Services has been operating for more than 27 years and is located in Bradenton, Fla.
