HistorySiteWizard LLC was incorporated in 2009, but founder Kevin Lawry has been active in the website / software development industry since 1997. After working as a CTO for a software company for 5+ years, Lawry decided to focus full-time on bringing SiteWizard CMS to the marketplace. Lawry first had the idea for SiteWizard CMS in January 2000 after making a personal commitment to Christ. His vision was to offer website solutions to churches with useful interactive features that would increase member participation. The website solution would allow non-technical users to easily create and maintain their church website. Over the years it became clear that other industries could benefit from the same features, leading to development of multiple niche versions of SiteWizard CMS. Development began in 2004 and SiteWizard CMS version 1 was released to the public in late 2010.
