HistoryAfter a decade in the trenches of the design business. Our founder and president, Bill Payne, started his first business. It was called Bill Payne Design and the day was September 19, 2005. The product was primarily design for web and print. Since then, technology has changed the business dramatically, and the needs of our clients have changed. To keep pace, we added skills as they became relevant: dynamic websites, content management systems, SEO, web analytics, responsive frameworks, mobile apps, and the list goes on. As our skillset increased, the name Bill Payne Design became less and less fitting, until it was clearly time for a change. We thought long and hard about an appropriate name, and decided that no matter what the media, the goal was the same, to drive business to our clients, to drive traffic to their websites, and to drive communications between them and their clients. So, in April of 2013, we became Drive Group.SpecialtiesDrive Group designs and deploys websites that deliver your message in a compelling way. We distinguish ourselves by excelling both creatively and technically. Our websites stand apart by being attractive, search engine optimized, responsive and just all-around, well-built sites. SEO is key. A website is no good unless you can find it, so SEO is fundamental to building a site for a business. We know how to build a site that will rank well in search engines through a combination of design, code, content, and framework. Design is important too. Once they've found it, a website's design and content must be compelling enough to keep a potential customer there long enough to absorb your message and ideally contact you for more information about your services. This is another area we specialize in. Listening to you and building a site that will show your company in the best light, and creating compelling calls to action to generate a form fill or a phone call. And don't forget about compatibility... There's nothing worse than finding out your site looks terrible (or breaks completely) on a smartphone. That's why we use a responsive framework that delivers your message across all platforms and devices, and looks great while doing it. And what about non-web related business communications?
